Athletic therapy professionals carry the title of “Certified Athletic Therapist”, awarded only to members of the Corporation des Thérapeutes du Sport du Québec (CTSQ) and the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA-CATA). They have completed the requirements and passed national examinations.
Athletic therapists are recognized for their ability to intervene in emergency situations in the field, as well as to assess and treat athletes and active people with limitations to the practice of their sport. They’ll help you regain your mobility and optimize your movements, guiding you towards a return to play and the achievement of your goals. Their experience in the field has developed their skills in understanding an individual’s ability to return to activity in the context of sports performance.
