Siobhan is a PhD candidate in Kinesiology Sciences, specializing in sport psychology, at McGill University, under the supervision of Dr. Gordon Bloom. She is a student member of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association (CSPA) and is actively working towards certification as a Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC).
Her passion for sport psychology grew from her experience competing as a springboard diver at the national level, where she earned recognition from Plongeon Quebec and Diving Canada. Over the past three years, she has worked as a mental performance consultant (in training) with McGill University’s men’s and women’s hockey teams, as well as with a diverse range of performers, including musicians. In this role, she has led group workshops, individual consultations, and team-building interventions designed to help individuals surpass their potential and achieve excellence.
Siobhan’s approach integrates evidence-based strategies that promote the development of fundamental competencies (e.g., confidence, resilience), self-regulation skills (e.g., self-awareness, emotional regulation), and interpersonal abilities (e.g., leadership). These strategies are designed to empower clients to achieve their goals and unlock their full potential.
